Midnight Manor Private Residence, Saturday Afternoon

After their usual trip to the mainland, Steven and Llewellyn came back home for their other usual Saturday activities. Which was Llewellyn taking over the kitchen to get some baking done before his piano practice, and Steven occupying himself with other things.

In today's case those other things had been cuddling Raphael (Steven still wanted to make it up to him for being away last weekend, even if Raphael had long since forgiven them) and picking something out of the library to read while Llewellyn was practicing.

While doing that, though, Steven also thought to catch up on radio. Which was when he heard the mention of the reunion and - twenty years??

Steven checked his mobile. Then he checked his pocketwatch. Then he checked them both again.

We didn't lose time, Steven, Marc assured him from one of the reflections.

Which was all well and good but that didn't rule out -

Steven ran back to the kitchen to check on Llewellyn.

Which was wonderful, and Steven murmured words to that effect as he rode through the high and the come down. He loosened his hand in Llewellyn's hair and went for gently stroking his fingers through, letting that also show his appreciation for what Llewellyn was doing.

Which felt nice, and had Watts tilting his head slightly to encourage more of the same.

Steven kept it up, carding his fingers through Llewellyn's hair. His breathing had returned to close to normal now so he was able to say, "My wonderful, dearest Llewellyn."

And now that his mouth was no longer occupied, Watts smiled up at him. "My darling Gentleman Knight," he replied. "My rare one."

Steven sank back until he was sitting on the edge of the mattress. Which had the benefit of both getting him off his now weak feeling legs, and getting him closer to Llewellyn. Which in and of itself had the benefit of making it easy for Steven to lean in and give Llewellyn a lingering kiss.

"My love."

Watts kissed him back eagerly. "That was- that was all right?" he asked. "I know it wasn't- what you asked for, originally," he added, somewhat abashed.

"No, it was wonderful," Steven quickly assured him. "I - I'd still like that? If it's possible? But no, it was more than all right. Very all right, actually."

"I think we can manage that," Watts replied, scrambling up to sit next to Steven. "I haven't spent myself, after all. So we'll just- allow you a little time to recover, first. There's no rush."

Steven immediately wrapped his arms around Llewellyn now that he was closer. "You're wonderful. Thank you."

"I love you," Watts said, holding on to Steven just as tightly. "So very much."

"I'm not being selfish?" Steven asked, just to check. "Asking this of you?"

"Not at all," Watts assured him. "It brings me pleasure- a different sort, but pleasure all the same- to be the one to bring you to such heights. And- I will certainly enjoy myself when I am inside of you, don't you worry," Watts assured him.

Steven blushed, smiling. He brushed his fingertips along Llewellyn's collar. "Good. I rather hope you will. I know I shall."

"How could I not?" Watts replied. "When making love to someone as captivating, as beautiful as you?" he asked, pulling Steven in for another kiss.

Steven kissed him back, cupping Llewellyn's cheek. Though he did find space enough to murmur, "Thank you."

"You're all mine, and you trust me to take care of you in the most intimate of ways," Watts pointed out. "There is something terribly, wonderfully intoxicating about that, I must admit."

"I trust you completely," Steven said without hesitation. "And I can understand that. I like knowing I can take care of you that way as well. At all, and especially when you're feeling poorly."

"Exactly," Watts nodded. "Anything I can do to make you feel better, I am most pleased to do it. Your happiness is paramount to me."

"You're very good at making me happy," Steven said. He leaned in so their foreheads rested together. "Safe. So I know where and when I am. And if the answer to that is that I'm with you it's so much the better."

"I most vehemently agree with that," Watts said. "Having you in the here and now with me."

Steven thought of something and chuckled.

"Shame we couldn't have tried this solution the first time."

"The first time?" Watts echoed, slightly puzzled.

"When the island played a trick like this," Steven said. Then his face fell. "Oh, no. We couldn't have in any way. It wasn't you."

Steven held Llewellyn close again.

Watts nodded against Steven's shoulder. "I don't think I- he- would have wanted to, in any case. It would have felt like- stepping out on the man he loved."

"Wouldn't want to anyway," Steven said. "He wasn't you."

Don't mind Steven, he was just going to cling tightly.
