Midnight Manor Private Residence, Sunday morning

Saturday had been going over to the mainland and then getting back in time for Stark's birthday party. Monday was Steven's second day of writing class and perhaps going to see Nell that night.

Sunday... Sunday was nothing. Which was wonderful.

Well, almost nothing. There was a cat who needed his breakfast. Which was why Steven did briefly slip out of the warmth of the covers to make sure Raphael was taken care of, then as quickly as possible slipped back under the covers to snuggle up to Llewellyn and attempt to get some more sleep.

If Steven accidentally left the bedroom door open when he did so, well that just meant there was soon a warm, purring lump curled up on top of the covers with them.

It was a chilly morning outside. Warm blankets were the order of the day for everyone, clearly.

"I vote we stay in comfortable clothes as well," Steven said. "Oh! And a blanket. You and me under a blanket."

And Raphael in whatever relationship to the blanket he wanted, assuming he didn't take over their bed once they finally left it.

“I’ve no plans to leave the house today,” Watts said. “So I am all right with that.”

Steven gave Llewellyn a little nudge. "You could even wear some of my clothes if you liked."

“I- might like that, yes,” Watts said, a slight blush creeping up on his cheeks.

Sure, by now he had some ‘cozy’ clothing of his own, including a set of sweats that had once been Steven’s but lived in his drawers. But there was something extra-cozy about wearing something of Steven’s.

Steven kissed Llewellyn's cheek. "Help yourself. Don't mind seeing you in my clothing at all."

Both because it was cozy and because Steven was just a touch smaller in size than Llewellyn.

“Shall we brave the world outside the covers, then?” Watts asked.

"I suppose we must," Steven said with a sigh. "One more kiss for good luck?"

“Best make it a good one,” Watts agreed, pulling Steven in close.

Steven was happy to take that advice to heart, tangling a hand in Llewellyn's hair again so he could hold him close for a long and proper kiss.

“I’d say- that certainly qualifies,” Watts managed eventually.

"Can hardly send you out into the cold not properly kissed," Steven said.

It wasn't actually cold, just cooler compared to being under blankets. But that was more than enough.

“No, that wouldn’t do at all,” Watts agreed, reluctantly pushing aside the covers and heading for Steven’s section of their wardrobe to pick out some appropriate clothing.

Steven sighed. With the covers out of the way, he gave Raphael a pet to apologize for moving the bed about. Then he got up as well and went to pick out some sweats to change into. "Lucky me it's a nice view even out of bed."

“There you go with the flirtatious comments again,” Watts said, pausing now that he had some pants on to wrap his arms around Steven from behind and press a kiss to his cheek. Which yes might make it a little difficult for Steven to get dressed but did Watts care?

"How am I to put a shirt on like this?" Steven asked. Though he was making no effort to escape.

“Hmmm, that is quite the dilemma,” Watts declared.

Steven put his arms over Llewellyn's. "Could try wearing you to keep warm I suppose."

"We will be spending a good portion of time under blankets, in front of a fire," Watts pointed out. "But you'd get chilly while we were preparing breakfast." Since making it would require them to be separated for at least part of the process. "And I can't have that."

"I will need a shirt then," Steven said. "Loath as I am to move."

Watts heaved a dramatic sigh and pressed a kiss to Steven's shoulder before he- reluctantly- let go.

Steven snickered. He took the nearest sweatshirt to hand and put it on. "Not that I mind you being greedy though."

"Good," Watts said firmly, pulling on the shirt he'd selected and then pulling Steven back into his arms. "Because I am afraid I cannot stop being so, when it comes to you."

Steven wrapped his arms around Llewellyn's waist and got as close as he could. "It's nice being something someone can't get enough of. Especially because it's you. Can't get enough of you either, actually."

"Good thing, then, that I am not going anywhere."

"Except to the kitchen with me?" Steven suggested.
