Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria, Friday Afternoon

Thursday had been spent enjoying themselves as much as possible, including the couples massage which had proven a great way to wind down after some sight seeing.

Friday... Friday was quieter.

Steven sat outside by their pool. He was dressed in his swimsuit but he was currently sitting cross legged by the edge of the pool looking into the water.

Looking at his reflection. Which was his reflection.

Which was fine. Good. What Steven was for, of course. Handling things that were too much or too painful for Marc to deal with.

Still. It wasn't as though Steven liked dealing with it either.

Steven sighed and kept looking down towards the water, not sure what to do.

"Good," Steven said. "We can always dip back into the pool if needed."

Steven got a strawberry off of the tray and offered it to Llewellyn.

Watts took it happily, pressing a soft kiss to Steven's fingers as he did so.

"Plenty of time left in the day," he agreed.

"Thank you for all this," Steven said. "Taking care of me."

"You're very welcome," Watts replied. "We all need taking care of sometimes."

"You're one of the best I've ever known," Steven told him. "Thank you."

Watts blushed furiously. "Means a lot, coming from you."

Steven kissed the top of Llewellyn's head. "You and Marc. I'm always cared for, between you both.

"We're all of us looking out for each other," Watts agreed.

"Taking turns," Steven said. "Sharing the load."

"As it ought to be..." Watts murmured, the warmth of the sun and the comfort of Steven's arms combining to tempt him to close his eyes.

Steven cuddled Llewellyn close, taking his turn to watch over him so that he could sleep safely in the warmth of the sun.
