Harrison Hot Springs Resort, Friday late afternoon

Steven and Llewellyn had gone for a hike on Hicks Lake Loop, taking longer than the suggested time since they'd brought a picnic with them to enjoy along the way.

Once done, they headed back to their hotel room. There Steven had arranged for a fruit platter and flowers to be waiting.

Yes, their anniversary had been yesterday. But that didn't mean they were limited to celebrating on that day. After all, here they were taking the entire weekend.

"I rather enjoyed that," Steven said as they came into the room. "Our hike."

He figured Llewellyn could notice the gifts in his own time.

He got a gasp, and an "Oh - " for his trouble. Also Steven holding on to him tighter as his pleasure grew.

Watts smiled, pleased, and sped up, going just a little harder.

Steven whimpered. He clung to Llewellyn as his muscles tensed and the heat inside of him grew. He made noises that sounded like "I love you" and "Wonderful" even if they weren't as articulate as they normally would be.

Watts's hand slid down until he found Steven's, threading their fingers together and squeezing even as he kept going, burying himself in Steven as far as he could.

That connection between them made Steven moan even louder. The reminder that what they had was more than physical but emotional as well. A true bond.

Steven held tightly to Llewellyn's hand and whispered, "Yes, please - yes - "

The physical was wonderful, there was no denying that. Just like there was no denying the joy that flooded through him every time Steven laughed. "Love you, darling..." he replied.

"Yours," Steven said. His voice was rough. "With - with all my heart, darling."

"As I am-" his breath hitched, "As I am yours, now and always."

Steven surged up to try to get another kiss out of Llewellyn, this one hungry and full of need.

Watts was hardly one to deny Steven, particularly in moments like these, meeting that hunger and need with similar feelings of his own.

"Don't stop," Steven murmured into the kiss. He could feel himself getting closer. "Please?"

"No- no danger of that," Watts assured him. He too was getting closer to that edge, but was doing his best to ensure Steven got there first.

Steven was getting closer by the moment. He kept making pleading noises, his muscles tensing with every thrust. Until finally the pleading sounds turned to whimpers, and then a shout as he finally hit that edge and beyond.

Watts smiled into the kiss, riding out Steven's climax with him, over that peak and back down, teetering exceptionally close to the edge himself.

As Steven relaxed into a boneless, blissful state his whimpers became encouraging sounds. He squeezed Llewellyn's hand, letting him know it was okay to join him.

And that encouragement was all he needed, the kiss deepening even as his thrusts forward contained a more frantic energy as he chased that feeling. And then he was tumbling over that edge to meet Steven in the afterglow.

"That's it," Steven murmured between kisses. "I've got you. I love you. My perfect Llew."

"Oh..." Watts sighed contentedly, as he relaxed and slumped on top of Steven. "Love you."

Steven wrapped his free arm around Llewellyn. "That was amazing."

"Mmm, agreed," Watts murmured, nuzzling into the crook of Steven's neck.

Steven tilted his head to give Llewellyn more room. "You're amazing."

"Thank you," Watts said, making good use of that newly exposed skin. "I think you are as well. So you are aware."

"Thank you." Steven shivered pleasantly at Llewellyn's touch. Then he chuckled softly. "All this and it's only the anniversary of us meeting."

"Setting high standards for our proper anniversary, I suppose," Watts mused.

"I like knowing that we're both so happy for it," Steven said. "It's nice to appreciate the sort of small things as much as the big."
